This album features a French-door style cover and pages that turn out from the center.  The pages are printed on Kodak Endura paper and are gloss coated for added protection and visual impact.  These are not your typical wedding album.  Prices for these start at $480 for a 30 page 10x10" album.

I'm going to work on doing a better job at posting what all is going on with Four19 Photography.

Crumley-Nelson Wedding - March 21, 2014 https://four19photo.com/blog/2014/3/crumley-nelson-wedding---march-21-2014 On March 21st, I got the honor to photograph two of my closest friends' wedding.  It was a beautiful event at a beautiful location.  They got married at the beautiful Hotel Phillips in downtown Kansas City, MO.  I had an awesome time capturing their day.  Here are some photos from their wedding day.

October 13, 2013 - The Day The Earth Shook https://four19photo.com/blog/2013/10/october-13-2013---the-day-the-earth-shook On September 15, 2013, the Seattle Seahawks set the World Record for Loudest Crowd Roar in an open air stadium.  They hit 136.6 db.  That is extremely loud, and can cause permanent hearing loss.  It's close to the sound of a jet engine.  Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Chiefs, has been proud of the fact that it was the loudest stadium in the NFL.  When Seattle took that title, the fans of Kansas City took it upon themselves to take that record back.  The Chiefs organization helped out by getting the word out, and by flying the representative from Guinness to the game.

I went to the game with my parents and a good friend, and we were all pumped up.  I knew it was going to be tough to beat the record.  However, if anyone was going to do it, it would be the Arrowhead Faithful.  The weather was beautiful, with it being around 70 at kickoff.  There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and there was a soft breeze.  It was perfect fall football weather in the Midwest.

To get things started, there was a World Record flyover of the largest formation ever for a flyover.  49 planes in all.  It was awesome, and they did a pretty good job.

The game was underway and the stadium was rocking.  I don't know how the Raiders were able to get anything done, because the stadium was extremely loud.  I had to put in ear plugs because it was so loud.  Each time the Raiders got the ball, the crowd of over 76,000 stood and screamed.  They stomped, they clapped, they roared and they did whatever else they could do to make noise.  It wasn't just a noise that you could hear, you could feel the stadium shaking.  It was simply amazing.

The only problem?  We weren't quite getting to that magic number of 136.6 db.  We kept getting close though.  For the longest time, we were stuck at 132.6 db.  It wasn't until the 4th quarter that we really started making progress.  Near the very end of the game, we got up to 135 db, but again it wasn't enough.  It was starting to look like we would get close, but just not quite get over the edge.  With 42 seconds to go in the game, Derrick Johnson sacked the Raiders' Terrelle Pryor.  The stadium erupted.  This was the 10th sack on the day for the Chiefs, and the crowd was already cheering loud.  That did it.  The board flashed 137.7 db.  That was the unofficial reading.  The official reading by the guys at Guinness was 137.5 db.  WOW!!!!!!  Great job Chiefs fans!  I'm glad that I was able to be there and scream my head off.  I was hoarse for the rest of the day into Monday.

Gymnastics and Cheer Photos - Finished! https://four19photo.com/blog/2013/10/what-a-week I finished up my week of photos for Legacy Gymnastics & Cheer.  I had a great time taking their photos.  I ended up taking 5 team photos and filled about 25 orders.  Not too bad.  From what I understand, this was one of the first times that they had individual portraits done.  I hope to be able to do this for them again next year.

Photo Day https://four19photo.com/blog/2013/10/photo-day I did the first of 5 days of photos for Legacy Gymnastics and Cheer today.  It went ok, but not as many kids as I had hoped.  Most of the kids were out of town, so hopefully they will come this week.  The kids that were there today were awesome.  I had a great time taking their photos.  A special thanks to Michelle Carroll for helping me pose them all.

My First Blog Post https://four19photo.com/blog/2013/10/my-first-blog-post Welcome to my first ever blog posting.  While I may not get super in depth about anything specific, I'll at least talk a little bit about what I am doing in the world of photography.  I'm not a photography teacher, nor do I have a formal education in this stuff.  However, I have learned through lots of trial and error, reading lots of books, and watching tons of videos.

I'm pretty excited to be doing the portrait and team photos for Legacy Gymnastics and Cheer in Warrensburg, MO.  I'm doing all of their individual shots tomorrow, and doing the group shots and any stragglers throughout the week.  I'm offering CDs to everyone.  That way they can print or do with them as they choose.  I'll post something on how it all goes, and a setup shot.
